Animal Day, the day we put an extra spotlight on our dear dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.! As much as we love our pets, we cannot deny that they produce foul odors, dander, hair and moisture, as well as emitting CO2. Both long-haired, short-haired and hairless animals create indoor pollution. These pollutants cause indoor air quality to deteriorate. Fresh air is incredibly important, both for you and your pet. Want to treat yourself and your pet more and not just on Animal Day? Treat your personal pet and yourself to a clean environment!

AIR8 260i NANO air purifier
The mobile air purifier AIR8 260i NANO is a compact plug and play unit. This air purifier is designed to clean the indoor air and has an airflow of 260m3/h. The unit weighs only 5.9kg which makes it relatively easy to move around. The dimensions are 55x35x21cm.There are many causes of poor air quality in a home. Daily activities such as cooking or cleaning, amongst other things, cause poor air quality. In addition, new furniture or textiles, paint, burning candles or fireplaces and having pets also cause this problem. These can be harmful for your health in the long term. In addition, it can be nice to be able to filter unpleasant odours out of your home.
This compact air cleaner is energy-efficient and very quiet. It has a power consumption of between 28 and 59 Watts and a noise level of between 34 and 51 dB. This depends on the speed at which the air cleaner operates. The air cleaner is adjustable in 3 speeds, but also has an auto mode. The air cleaner then measures itself via the air quality sensor how hard it needs to work to maintain optimum air quality. The air quality is indicated in PM2.5 on the display. 10 to 60 means you have good air quality, 61-150 is moderate and 150-300 is bad. Furthermore, it has a timer that can be set between 1 and 8 hours. The air purifier can also be put in sleep mode, where it runs at the lowest speed for minimum disturbance and the screen is switched off for maximum sleeping comfort. The filter lasts for approximately 3000 hours of use. The indicator on the air purifier shows the life span of the filter.
Controllable via smartphone
The air purifier also works on WiFi. This way, you can operate the air purifier via the display, remote control and via the application. Do you have small children in the house? Feel free to lock the air purifier.
 6-step filter technology
- Pre-filtration: This is a protective layer for long-term operation of the HEPA filter. The pre-filtration removes large particles such as hair, dust and pollen from the air.
- Carbon filtration: This protects against chemicals and odours. It also removes harmful pollutants such as smog.
- Cold catalysis: This breaks down invisible gases from the air.
- HEPA filter: This is a medical grade clean air filter. HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters are 99.97% effective in trapping fine air particles. The Coronavirus is 0.125 microns in size and the HEPA filter has been proven to filter out these small particles as well.
- UV-GI light: This is a technology that eliminates 99.99% of unhealthy microorganisms, viruses and bacteria. The UV-GI lamps are safely built in, so they are not harmful to the body.
- Ioniser: This neutralises floating particles. An ioniser generates millions of negative ions that attach themselves to dust particles, micro-organisms and other unwanted particles in the air. These particles thus become heavier than air and either fall to the ground or are filtered out by the air cleaner. 100% ozone-free. Ionisation can be switched on and off with this unit.

How important is good air quality in your workplace?Posted on 8-9-2021 by Anouk Wigchert
We spend almost 90% of our time indoors, much of it at work. A healthy workplace seems obvious, but it's not. Whether you work at home, at the office or change work locations, healthy air quality contributes to people's productivity and absenteeism. In this blog, we'll tell you more about healthy air quality in your workplace.
An air cleaner cleans the air in a room of viruses and other harmful particles such as pollen, dust and bacteria. The use of an air cleaner ensures a healthy working and/or living environment. To ensure that the air cleaner continues to do its work optimally, it is important to clean the air cleaner in time. In this blog we will take you step by step through the cleaning of your air purifier.
A lot of people these days are spending a lot more time indoors than before. To be sure of clean air, it is important to properly ventilate and install an air purifier. Because indoor air is often more polluted than outdoor air. An open window or additional ventilation provides fresh air. An air purifier then filters out small particles from the air such as dust, pollen, smoke and particulate matter, which can enter even with an open window. But which air purifier is the best choice for you? Find out here in the air purifier comparator.
