How do I clean my air purifier?
An air cleaner cleans the air in a room of viruses and other harmful particles such as pollen, dust and bacteria. The use of an air cleaner ensures a healthy working and/or living environment. To ensure that the air cleaner continues to do its work optimally, it is important to clean the air cleaner in time. In this blog we will take you step by step through the cleaning of your air purifier.
How often should I clean my air purifier?
In order for the air purifier to do its job as well as possible, and thus keep the air in your living environment at its best, it is important to clean it regularly. Make sure to remove dust from the back cover every two months and vacuum the dust from the air filters. The filters should be replaced every six months unless otherwise indicated.
Cleaning the air purifier step by step
Step 1:
First, make sure the air purifier is turned off and unplugged before removing any parts to clean or replace. This way, you can start cleaning safely.
Step 2:
Hold the air purifier and remove the rear panel.
Step 3:
Gently pull out the filter tabs to remove the filter (composite filter with pre-filter, carbon filter, HEPA filter, cold catalyst).
Step 4:
Remove the dust from the back cover with a cloth.
Step 5:
Clean the filters, which can be removed from the air cleaner, with a hoover.
Please note: Do not clean the parts with water or detergents.
Step 6:
Make sure you replace the filters properly and close the back panel. Your air purifier is now ready to use again.
