The new HRC 300 MaxComfort is Orcon’s latest heat recovery ventilation (HRV) unit, replacing the HRC BRPH-15. Compared to its predecessor, the HRC MaxComfort is up to 60% more energy-efficient and achieves a thermal efficiency of up to 99.3%! The unit delivers a maximum airflow of 300 m³/h at 150Pa and operates with very low noise levels. Additionally, the Orcon MaxComfort comes standard with an integrated preheater.
TIP: Using the dip switches, the HRV unit can be configured for 300 m³/h at 200 Pa.
Orcon’s HRV is one of the smartest heat recovery units on the market. Thanks to its numerous integrated sensors, the device precisely measures current indoor conditions and can adjust accordingly. This demand-driven ventilation prevents unnecessary energy consumption. The HRC 300 is equipped with the following integrated sensors:
With these 13 built-in sensors, airflow can be balanced with an accuracy up to 1%. Furthermore, the sensors enable even better control in various demand-driven scenarios such as bypass, frost protection, shower, and cooking modes. Additionally, up to 20 extra RF sensors or RF controls can be connected to the unit.
The Orcon 300 MaxComfort HRV offers exceptional ease of installation. The unit is suitable for both left- and right-side installation by mounting the controls, filters, and front panel on the opposite side of the device. Moreover, ventilation ducts can be connected either on the side or the top, and the unit supports both Perilex and standard earthed plugs. This means there is one model for all applications! The Ecomax is supplied with a standard earthed plug, with the Perilex plug available separately.
Both left and right versions
The Orcon HRC MaxComfort can be installed in two configurations. By default, the unit is delivered in the "left" configuration, with the domestic connections on the left side and outdoor connections on the right side. However, this is easily reversible: by detaching the front and back panels, the unit can be flipped! For more details, please refer to the installation manual.
