The new HRC 300 EcoMax is the latest HRV unit from Orcon and replaces the HRC BRPH-15. Compared to its predecessor, the HRC EcoMax is up to 60% more energy-efficient and achieves a thermal efficiency of up to 99.3%! The unit delivers a maximum airflow of 300 m³/h at 150Pa and operates very quietly.
TIP: Using the dip switches, the HRV unit can be set to 300 m³/h at 200 Pa.
Orcon’s HRV is one of the smartest heat recovery ventilation units on the market. Thanks to the many integrated sensors, the device precisely measures current living conditions and can respond accordingly. This demand-controlled ventilation prevents unnecessary energy consumption. The HRC 300 is equipped with the following integrated sensors:
With these 13 built-in sensors, airflow can be balanced with an accuracy of up to 1%. Furthermore, the sensors enable even better control in various demand-controlled scenarios such as bypass, frost protection, shower, and cooking programmes. Additionally, up to 20 extra RF sensors or RF controls can be connected to the unit.
The Orcon 300 EcoMax HRV offers exceptional ease of installation. The unit is suitable for both left- and right-hand mounting by installing the controls, filters, and front panel on the opposite side of the device. Moreover, the ventilation ducts can be connected from either the side or the top, and the device supports both Perilex and standard earth plug connections. This means one model fits all applications! The EcoMax is supplied as standard with an earth plug; the Perilex plug is available separately.
Both left- and right-hand versions
The Orcon HRC EcoMax can be installed in two ways. By default, the unit is delivered in the “left” configuration, where the domestic connections are on the left side, and the external connections on the right side. However, this can easily be changed: by removing the front and back panels, the unit can be rotated! For more information, please refer to the installation manual.
