Maxivent Automatic Switching Water Coil 98.40 kW Heating, 33.64 kW Cooling - CCW2

The Maxivent automatic switching water coil is an optional accessory designed to expand the horizontal M4555 air handling unit. Constructed from a galvanized steel frame, aluminium fins, copper tubes, and headers, the automatic switching water coil, with a capacity of 98.40 kW for heating and 33.64 kW for cooling, ensures excellent thermal conductivity.

Water or a glycol mixture circulates through the copper tubes of the heat exchanger, absorbing or releasing heat to the airflow inside the air handling unit. The heat exchanger is supplied by an external source, such as a central heating boiler, chiller, or heat pump, which provides the coil with hot or cold water. The difference and advantage compared to a standard hot or cold water coil is that the automatic switching water coil can both cool and heat. Switching between functions is easily managed via a control valve.

The automatic switching water coil is mounted on the side of the horizontal M4555 air handling unit.
