The Maxivent automatic changeover water coil is an optional accessory designed to enhance the horizontal low profile M4555 air handling unit. Constructed from a galvanized steel frame, aluminium fins, copper tubes, and headers, the automatic changeover water coil guarantees excellent thermal conductivity, with a capacity of 56.30 kW for heating and 19.70 kW for cooling.

Water or a glycol mixture circulates through the copper tubes of the heat exchanger, absorbing or releasing heat to the airflow within the air handling unit. The heat exchanger is supplied by an external source, such as a boiler, chiller, or heat pump, which provides the coil with hot or cold water. The key advantage over a standard hot or chilled water coil is that the automatic changeover water coil can both cool and heat. Switching between functions is easily achieved via a control valve.

The automatic changeover water coil is installed on the side of the horizontal low profile M4555 air handling unit.
