HomEvap WTW Cooler
The HomEvap cooler is suitable for any WTW system, comes with a wireless controller included, and is fully legionella-safe. The HomEvap has been developed to create a comfortably cool indoor climate, and it succeeds.
Equipped with standard connectors/couplings, the cooler (HEPC) is compatible with various WTW installations. It is connected in the supply duct of the WTW unit so that the incoming fresh air is additionally cooled before entering the home. This keeps the indoor air pleasantly fresh even at higher outdoor temperatures. The cooler uses water as the cooling medium and can be easily connected to your water supply and drainage. Additionally, the HomEvap always includes the Hedis wireless controller, which allows you to set the cooling and operate it fully automatically.
How the HomEvap WTW Cooler Works
The return air (extracted by the WTW on the living side) passes through a moistened matrix and legionella filter. This cools the air down very close to the wet bulb temperature of that air, for example, 29°C/30% RH is cooled to 20°C/75% RH, achieving an efficiency of no less than 80%. This is also known as adiabatic cooling. The heat exchanger thus becomes a cold exchanger, allowing you to cool the air in your home quietly, safely, and energy-efficiently.
