The Spiro-SAFE premium acoustic attenuator with a diameter of 200 mm and length of 900 mm (100 mm insulation) is a circular ventilation silencer made of galvanised steel, specially designed for use in ventilation and air handling ducts. This attenuator is engineered to effectively reduce noise generated by airflow and mechanical fans, ensuring that noise levels in occupied and technical spaces remain within acceptable limits.
The attenuator features male (spigot) connections on both ends, each equipped with an integrated double EPDM lip seal, providing a airtight and reliable connection to circular ventilation ducts.

Practical information

Sound absorption is achieved by mineral wool positioned between the inner and outer casing of the attenuator. Depending on the model, the wool thickness is 50 mm or 100 mm for the PREMIUM-100 version. 2. Central core: Starting from diameter 315, the premium attenuators include a central core. The core directs the airflow through a perforated inner tube, increasing contact between sound waves and the absorbent layer. This especially enhances attenuation of mid and high frequencies.

More uniform sound reduction: The combination of flexible insulation, tight seals, and thoughtful construction ensures that the premium variant provides a more consistent noise reduction across a broad frequency range.
