Orcon WTW HRC-260-OptiAir-Eco

The Orcon HRC-260 OptiAir Eco is a balanced ventilation system with heat recovery designed for houses and apartments. The unit operates on demand: the airflow rate automatically adjusts based on the indoor air quality, ensuring ventilation only occurs when necessary. With a thermal efficiency of 91.7% and an A+ energy label, the system recovers nearly all the heat from the extracted air and transfers it to the fresh supply air. The Eco version is the base model without a preheater, with frost protection managed through imbalance control.

High Efficiency with Low Consumption

At an airflow capacity of 260 m³/h, the HRC-260 OptiAir Eco consumes a maximum of just 53 W. Thanks to constant volume control and demand-driven operation, the unit runs most of the day at low speed, which reduces both energy consumption and noise levels. The ePM1 70% filter class on the supply side keeps fine dust out, noticeably improving indoor air quality.

Installation, Maintenance and Applications

The HRC-260 OptiAir Eco is suitable for both new builds and renovations in houses and apartments. The duct connections are 4 x 160 mm, and the unit is supplied with a standard grounded power cable. Ceiling mounting is the default configuration; wall and floor mounting are possible with a separately available mounting kit. Thanks to its low weight of 23 kg, the unit can be lifted and positioned by one person. Maintenance is limited to periodic filter replacement, which can be done without removing the unit from the ceiling. The airflow per setting can be configured for the specific situation in the building via dipswitches on the control board.
