Maxivent Reversible DX Coil for M4555 Horizontal Low Profile Right - CCDX1R

The Maxivent by Econox reversible DX coil is an optional accessory to expand the M4555 air handling unit, horizontal low profile right version. Constructed from a galvanized steel frame, aluminium fins, copper tubes, and collectors, the DX coil, with a capacity of 35.03 kW for heating and 36.85 kW for cooling, ensures excellent thermal conductivity and a corrosion-resistant casing.

Within the copper tubes of the heat exchanger, a refrigerant (e.g. R410A or R32) circulates, exchanging heat with the airflow inside the air handling unit through evaporation or condensation. The difference—and advantage—compared to a hot or chilled water coil is that the reversible DX coil can both cool and heat while operating directly with the refrigerant. No intermediary medium (such as water or glycol) is required for heat transfer, allowing for a more compact installation and reducing heat loss.

The reversible DX coil module is mounted on the side of the horizontal low profile M4555 air handling unit.
