Maxivent Reversible DX Coil for M4555 Horizontal Left - CCDX1L

The Maxivent by Econox reversible DX coil is an optional accessory for extending the M4555 air handling unit, horizontal left configuration. Constructed from a galvanised steel frame, aluminium fins, and copper tubes and headers, this DX coil, with a capacity of 34.46 kW for heating and 36.15 kW for cooling, ensures excellent thermal conductivity and a corrosion-resistant casing.

A refrigerant (e.g. R410A or R32) circulates within the copper tubes of the heat exchanger, exchanging heat with the airstream inside the air handling unit through evaporation or condensation. The key difference and advantage compared to a hot or chilled water coil is that the reversible DX coil can both cool and heat directly using the refrigerant. No intermediate fluid (such as water or glycol) is required for heat transfer, which keeps the installation compact and reduces heat loss.

The reversible DX coil module is mounted on the side of the horizontal M4555 air handling unit.
