The Maxivent by Econox M4540 unit is a highly efficient, robust, advanced, and versatile balanced ventilation system with heat recovery, specifically designed for office buildings, sports facilities, and medium-sized commercial properties. With a nominal airflow of 4000 m³/h and heat recovery exceeding 80%, this air handling unit is ideal for your next commercial project where continuous ventilation without energy loss is essential. The unit operates using an efficient counterflow heat exchanger, EC fans, an integrated control panel and remote controller with 10 m cable.The AHU is plug & play, designed for floor mounting, and features handles on the right side for easy opening and maintenance.
Benefits and Features
- Durable Housing: Constructed from aluminium profiles with a polyamide thermal break (TB2 class) to prevent thermal bridges. According to EN 1886, the unit achieves class D1, L1, T2, and TB2. The double-skinned panels are insulated with 45 mm rock wool to minimise heat loss and noise.
- Counterflow Heat Exchanger: The integrated, efficient, and Eurovent-certified counterflow heat exchanger recovers over 80% of the thermal energy from the exhaust air without mixing air streams.
- EC Fans: Direct-driven EC motorised plug fans with high-efficiency electronic commutation (EC) provide an eco-friendly solution with low energy consumption and low noise levels.
- Maintenance Friendly: Easy access to the AHU via handles located on the right side. Filters and optional accessories can be easily replaced or installed.
- The Regin E3-DSP: Remote control is supplied as standard and offers intuitive remote control via an LCD display. This allows ventilation and air conditioning modes, temperature settings, dirty filter information and many other parameters to be easily adjusted and monitored remotely, without the need for direct access to the air handling unit. As standard, the maximum distance is 10 meters but it is possible to extend it even more by adding some additional components.
- Control Panel: The fully integrated Regin control panel is suitable for constant pressure or constant airflow control. It can be equipped with CO₂ or humidity sensors and supports display and operation of many functions (such as airflow control, temperature regulation, dirty filter notifications, frost protection, and more).
- Additional Components: Thanks to its flexible design, the unit can be easily expanded with extra features such as hot and chilled water coils, electric preheaters, silencers, and protective measures, customised to user requirements.
