The Maxivent by Econox M4540 system is a highly efficient, robust, advanced, and versatile balanced ventilation unit with heat recovery, specially designed for office buildings, sports facilities, and medium-sized commercial buildings. With a nominal airflow of 4000 m³/h and a heat recovery rate of over 80%, this air handling unit is ideally suited for your next commercial project where continuous ventilation without energy loss is essential. The unit operates using an efficient counterflow heat exchanger, EC fans, an integrated control panel and remote controller with 10 m cable. The unit is plug & play, designed for floor mounting, and features handles on the left side for easy opening and maintenance.


Benefits and Features

  • Durable housing: Constructed from aluminium profiles with a polyamide thermal break (TB2-class) to prevent thermal bridging. According to EN 1886, the unit achieves class D1, L1, T2, and TB2. The double-walled panels are insulated with 45 mm rock wool to minimise heat loss and noise.
  • Counterflow heat exchanger: The integrated, efficient, and Eurovent certified counterflow heat exchanger recovers over 80% of thermal energy from the exhaust air without mixing air streams.
  • EC fans: Direct-driven EC motorised plug fans with high-efficiency electronic commutation (EC) provide an eco-friendly solution with low energy consumption and low noise levels.
  • Maintenance-friendly: Easy access to the air handling unit through the handles on the left side. Filters and optional accessories can be easily replaced or installed.
  • The Regin E3-DSP: Remote control is supplied as standard and offers intuitive remote control via an LCD display. This allows ventilation and air conditioning modes, temperature settings, dirty filter information and many other parameters to be easily adjusted and monitored remotely, without the need for direct access to the air handling unit. As standard, the maximum distance is 10 meters but it is possible to extend it even more by adding some additional components.
  • Control panel: The fully integrated Regin control panel supports constant pressure or constant flow regulation. It can be equipped with a CO₂ or humidity sensor and allows display and control of multiple functions (such as airflow control, temperature regulation, dirty filter alerts, frost protection, and more).
  • Additional components: Thanks to the flexible design, the unit can be easily expanded with extra functionalities such as hot and cold water coils, electric preheaters, silencers, and protective devices, tailored to the user’s requirements.
