The Maxivent by Econox M4540 unit is a highly efficient, robust, advanced and versatile balanced ventilation system with heat recovery, specially designed for office buildings, sports facilities, and medium-sized commercial properties. With a nominal airflow of 4000 m³/h and a heat recovery efficiency exceeding 80%, this air handling unit is ideally suited for your next commercial project where continuous ventilation without energy loss is a priority. The unit operates using an efficient counterflow heat exchanger, EC fans, an integrated control panel and remote controller with 10 m cable. It is plug & play, designed for floor mounting, and features handles on the right side for easy access and maintenance.
Advantages and Features
- Durable enclosure: Constructed from aluminium profiles with a polyamide thermal break (TB2-class) to prevent thermal bridging. According to EN 1886, the unit achieves class D1, L1, T2, and TB2. The double-walled panels are insulated with 45 mm rock wool to minimise heat loss and sound transmission.
- Counterflow heat exchanger: The integrated, efficient, and Eurovent-certified counterflow heat exchanger recovers over 80% of the thermal energy from the exhaust air without mixing air streams.
- EC fans: Direct-driven, electronically commutated (EC) plug fans provide a low-energy, environmentally friendly solution with minimal noise levels.
- Easy maintenance: Simple access to the air handling unit via handles on the right side. Filters and optional accessories can be easily replaced or installed.
- The Regin E3-DSP: Remote control is supplied as standard and offers intuitive remote control via an LCD display. This allows ventilation and air conditioning modes, temperature settings, dirty filter information and many other parameters to be easily adjusted and monitored remotely, without the need for direct access to the air handling unit. As standard, the maximum distance is 10 meters but it is possible to extend it even more by adding some additional components.
- Control panel: The fully integrated Regin control panel supports regulation based on constant pressure or constant airflow. It can be equipped with CO₂ or humidity sensors and allows display and control of multiple functions such as airflow control, temperature management, dirty filter alerts, frost protection, and more.
- Add-on components: Thanks to its flexible design, the unit can be easily expanded with additional functionalities such as hot and cold water coils, electric preheaters, silencers, and protective devices tailored to the user’s requirements.
