Maxivent Automatic Switching Water Coil 38.70 kW Heating, 13.06 kW Cooling - CCW2

The Maxivent automatic switching water coil is an optional accessory designed to expand the horizontal low profile M4523 air handling unit. Constructed from a galvanized steel frame, aluminium fins, copper tubes, and headers, the automatic switching water coil delivers excellent thermal conductivity, with a capacity of 38.70 kW for heating and 13.06 kW for cooling.

Water or a glycol mixture circulates through the copper tubes of the heat exchanger, absorbing or releasing heat to the airflow within the air handling unit. The heat exchanger is supplied by an external source, such as a boiler, chiller, or heat pump, which provides the coil with hot or chilled water. The key advantage, compared to a standard hot or chilled water coil, is that the automatic switching water coil can both cool and heat. Switching between functions is easily controlled via a regulating valve.

The automatic switching water coil is mounted on the side of the horizontal low profile M4523 air handling unit.
