The Maxivent automatic changeover water coil is an optional accessory designed to extend the horizontal M4523 air handling unit. Constructed from a galvanised steel frame, aluminium fins, copper tubes, and collectors, this automatic changeover coil, with a capacity of 23.20 kW heating and 7.82 kW cooling, guarantees excellent thermal conductivity.

Water or a glycol mixture circulates through the copper tubes of the heat exchanger, absorbing or releasing heat to the airflow within the AHU. The heat exchanger is supplied by an external source such as a central heating boiler, chiller, or heat pump, providing the coil with hot or cold water. A key advantage compared to standard hot or cold water coils is that the automatic changeover water coil can both cool and heat. Switching between functions is easily controlled via a regulating valve.

The automatic changeover water coil is mounted on the side of the horizontal M4523 air handling unit.
