Brink Flair 400 4/0 left enthalpy MVHR unit

The Brink Flair 400 enthalpy is a highly efficient mechanical ventilation heat recovery unit with a thermal efficiency of more than 80%. The energy consumption of the Brink Flair 400 is up to 30% lower than comparable MVHR systems. The integrated control and the newly designed Flair fans ensure a constant flow of fresh air up to a capacity of 400m³/h. This enables the Brink Flair to ensure an optimal balance between thermal efficiency and energy consumption. The MVHR unit has an extensive range of operating options.

The Flair can be operated wirelessly in combination with the Brink Home. This means the Brink Flair 400 can be operated via the app on a smartphone or tablet.

With the installation wizard on the Brink Home app, the installation of the Flair 400 4/0 left is quick and easy. The entire process is described step by step, making it almost impossible to miss anything. In addition, the maintenance wizard provides assistance with maintenance and sends notifications when the filters need to be replaced. Very handy!

The Flair 400 4/0 enthalpy left comes with an automatic summer bypass and smart freeze protection as standard. What's more, the unit has an extremely low noise level and is the smallest size in its class. Next to that, the unit is equipped with an enthalpy exhanger.

The Brink MVHR Flair 400 4/0 enthalpy left is a Dutch device and can therefore only be set in Dutch.

The Flair 400 is the successor to the Brink Renovent Excellent 400 series. The Flair 400 features the following improvements on its predecessor:

  • Latest communication options via smartphone/tablet app
  • Most efficient MVHR unit on the British market
  • The connection sleeves are fitted as standard with rubber rings for an airtight connection
  • Modbus PCB as standard
  • Thanks to the new condensate drain, now fitted with a ball-siphon as standard, it is almost impossible for connection errors to occur.
  • USB connection for RF control

Version Brink Climate Systems MVHR Flair 400 4/0 enthalpy left:

The 400 stands for an airflow of 400m³/h

Is ventilation good for the environment?
Is ventilation good for the environment?
We are increasingly noticing the effects of global warming. We know we can also do something ourselves to counteract it. Among other things, we can travel less often by car, eat less meat and use energy sparingly. With the latter, the government has helped us. The imposition of higher environmental requirements for new houses was in fact a consequence of the 1973 energy crisis. This created a veritable wave of insulation. Since this time, modern homes are so well insulated that heat can no longer be lost through cracks and holes. The downside of this is that it also prevents fresh air from entering the house. However, we need ventilation to stay healthy. On the other hand, we all want to ensure that the environment does not deteriorate even further. In this blog, we answer the question of whether ventilation is environmentally friendly.

Ventilating your home in winter + 5 tips
Ventilating your home in winter + 5 tips
Winter time has already arrived and the new lockdown measures have been introduced, which means we will spend much more time at home again. We often make the mistake of opening the heating in cold weather and closing the windows and grilles in the home, this causes a major deterioration in indoor air quality. Are you curious about how you can ensure that you achieve a healthy indoor climate in your own home in winter? Read on quickly!

What is an enthalpy exchanger?
What is an enthalpy exchanger?
An enthalpy exchanger recovers moisture in addition to heat. Proper ventilation without an enthalpy exchanger extracts moisture from the air in a home. Long exposure to too low humidity can have physical consequences. So with the enthalpy exchanger, you no longer suffer from this. The enthalpy exchanger maintains the humidity level, making the air in your home much more pleasant.

What is an MVHR unit? Energy-efficient ventilation
What is an MVHR unit? Energy-efficient ventilation
The abbreviation MVHR stands for heat recovery and is a method of ventilation in which as little heat as possible is lost. With MVHR ventilation, the used, warm air is simply removed and its heat is transferred to the fresh, cold air that flows through the ventilation system into the house. An MVHR unit keeps the air flows in your home balanced, which is why it is also known as balanced ventilation. The system is also known as 'ventilation system D'.
