The Belimo cable temperature sensor is designed for measuring air temperatures in HVAC systems, particularly in air ducts. Thanks to the integrated mounting flange, the sensor is immediately suitable for duct installation. The stainless steel probe, responsible for measuring the temperature, and the fixed connection cable ensure reliable readings, while the passive PT1000 element accurately converts the temperature into a resistance signal for control technology. Based on this measured temperature, the system is automatically regulated.
The cable temperature sensor is specifically designed for installation in air ducts and comes with a mounting flange for secure fixing. Proper positioning of the probe in the airflow ensures representative temperature measurement. Due to its passive design, no power supply is required. For longer cable lengths, cable resistance must be taken into account. The sensor is suitable for applications in commercial buildings and industrial ventilation systems where reliable duct temperature measurement is essential.
The sensor features a stainless steel probe measuring 200 mm in length and 6 mm in diameter, providing a measurement point deeper inside the air duct. The fixed, 2-core connecting cable of 2 metres allows direct and interference-free connection to the controller. The combination of probe length and mounting flange makes this model particularly suited for accurate measurements in air ducts.
