This 90-degree PVC bend with dimensions of 160 mm (round) features a glued socket connection on one side. This allows the bend to fit directly over a duct without the need for an additional connector to link it with the oval recessed duct.
The round ducts and fittings have a built-in height of only 90 mm (duct height 80 mm). This makes the system suitable not only for recessed applications but also for installation in lowered ceilings or other space constraints. The robust impact-resistant PVC makes them durable and capable of withstanding the loads during concrete pouring.
Recessed ducts are ventilation ducts integrated into a floor or concrete to facilitate air distribution or extraction in buildings. These flexible products are designed to be invisible and are commonly used in new construction and renovation projects. Furthermore, a recessed duct can be used in walls, floors, and/or ceilings. The ducts and fittings meet the highest air tightness class, ATC1, as established in NEN-EN 17192:2019. Thanks to the low wall roughness of PVC, there is less dirt deposition and minimal friction losses. PVC has the lowest wall roughness of all ventilation ducts, contributing to optimal airflow. Flexible ducts, on the other hand, have the highest wall roughness, although they excel in flexibility.
A unique feature of the system is the presence of additional ribs around the glued socket. These ribs enhance grip and ensure a stronger connection, which is essential during concrete pouring.
