The Griffon RU-22 is a high-quality, THF-free adhesive, specially developed for the quick and effective bonding of rigid PVC ducts and fittings. Thanks to its unique thixotropic formula, the adhesive does not drip, making it ideal for both horizontal and vertical applications. Additionally, the adhesive is gap-filling and provides a fast bond without the presence of tetrahydrofuran (THF), making it safer and more user-friendly.

Instructions for Use

To make optimal use of the Griffon RU-22 and ensure the strength of the bond, carefully follow the steps below:

1. Preparation of the pipes:
   • Cut the PVC pipes squarely, bevel the ends, and remove any burrs for a smooth finish.
2. Cleaning:
   • Thoroughly clean the bonding surfaces with Griffon Cleaner and a clean Cleaner Cloth.
3. Applying adhesive:
   • Apply the adhesive quickly and evenly by stroking around 4-6 times:
     • On the pipe: Apply thickly.
     • In the socket: Apply thinly.
4. Assembling:
   • Place the joint immediately after applying the adhesive and press firmly.
   • Remove any excess adhesive with a cloth.
5. Curing:
   • Leave the joint undisturbed for the first 10 minutes and do not apply mechanical stress.
6. Storage:
   • Seal the packaging immediately and carefully after use to keep the adhesive in good condition.

Cleaning of stains: Use the same Griffon Cleaner to remove adhesive stains or residues.

Processing Conditions

The Griffon RU-22 adhesive performs best under the following conditions:

• Temperature: Do not process the product at an ambient temperature of 5°C or lower.
