Maxivent reversible DX coil 2.01 kW heating, 2.21 kW cooling - H CCDX1L

The Maxivent by Econox reversible DX coil is an optional accessory to extend the M4004 air handling unit, left side version. Constructed with a galvanized steel frame, aluminium fins, copper tubes and headers, the DX coil, with a capacity of 2.01 kW for heating and 2.21 kW for cooling, ensures excellent thermal conductivity and a corrosion-resistant casing.

A refrigerant (e.g. R410A or R32) circulates within the copper tubes of the heat exchanger, exchanging heat with the airflow in the air handling unit through evaporation or condensation. The difference and advantage compared to a hot or chilled water coil is that the reversible DX coil can both cool and heat, operating directly with the refrigerant. No intermediary medium (such as water or glycol) is required for heat transfer, keeping the installation compact and reducing heat loss.

The reversible DX coil module is mounted on the side of the M4004 air handling unit.
