Maxivent reversible DX coil for MR4521 right - CCDX1R

The Maxivent by Econox reversible DX coil is an optional accessory for expanding the MR4521 air handling unit, right-hand version. Constructed from a galvanized steel frame, aluminium fins, copper tubes, and headers, the DX coil, with a capacity of 13.02 kW for heating and 13.87 kW for cooling, ensures excellent thermal conductivity and features a corrosion-resistant housing.

A refrigerant (e.g. R410A or R32) circulates through the copper tubes of the heat exchanger, exchanging heat with the airflow inside the air handling unit through evaporation or condensation. The key difference—and advantage—compared to a hot- or chilled-water coil is that the reversible DX coil can both cool and heat directly with the refrigerant. No intermediate medium (such as water or glycol) is required for heat transfer, making the installation more compact and reducing heat loss.

The reversible DX coil module is mounted on the side of the MR4521 air handling unit.
