Maxivent Reversible DX Coil for MR4521 Left - CCDX1L

The Maxivent by Econox reversible DX coil is an optional accessory designed to expand the MR4521 air handling unit, left-hand version. Constructed from a galvanized steel frame, aluminium fins, and copper tubes and headers, the DX coil, with a capacity of 13.02 kW for heating and 13.87 kW for cooling, ensures excellent thermal conductivity and a corrosion-resistant casing.

A refrigerant (e.g., R410A or R32) circulates through the copper tubes of the heat exchanger, exchanging heat with the airflow inside the air handling unit by evaporation or condensation. The key difference and advantage compared to a hot- or chilled-water coil is that the reversible DX coil can both cool and heat, operating directly with the refrigerant. This eliminates the need for an intermediate medium (such as water or glycol) for heat transfer, resulting in a more compact installation with reduced heat loss.

The reversible DX coil module is mounted on the side of the MR4521 air handling unit.
