Maxivent Reversible DX Coil for M4512 Horizontal Low Profile Right – CCDX1R

The Maxivent by Econox reversible DX coil is an optional accessory designed to expand the M4512 air handling unit, horizontal low profile right version. Constructed with a galvanised steel frame, aluminium fins, and copper tubes and manifolds, the DX coil delivers a heating capacity of 7.34 kW and a cooling capacity of 7.9 kW, ensuring excellent thermal conductivity and a corrosion-resistant casing.

A refrigerant (e.g. R410A or R32) circulates through the copper tubes of the heat exchanger. Through evaporation or condensation, it exchanges heat with the airflow inside the air handling unit. The main difference—and advantage—compared to a hot or chilled water coil is that the reversible DX coil can both cool and heat while operating directly with the refrigerant. This eliminates the need for an intermediate fluid (such as water or glycol), keeping the installation compact and reducing heat loss.

The reversible DX coil module is mounted on the side of the horizontal low profile M4512 air handling unit.
