Maxivent Reversible DX Coil for M4512 Horizontal Left - CCDX1L

The Maxivent by Econox reversible DX coil is an optional accessory for extending the M4512 air handling unit, horizontal left version. Constructed from a galvanized steel frame, aluminium fins, copper tubes and headers, the DX coil, with a capacity of 7.34 kW for heating and 7.9 kW for cooling, ensures excellent thermal conductivity and a corrosion-resistant casing.

A refrigerant (e.g. R410A or R32) circulates through the copper tubes of the heat exchanger, exchanging heat with the airflow inside the air handling unit through evaporation or condensation. The key difference and advantage compared to a hot or chilled water coil is that the reversible DX coil can both cool and heat, directly working with the refrigerant. No intermediate medium (such as water or glycol) is required for heat transfer, keeping the installation compact and minimising heat loss.

The reversible DX coil module is mounted on the side of the horizontal M4512 air handling unit.
