The Maxivent by Econox M4555 system is a highly efficient, robust, advanced, and versatile balanced ventilation unit with heat recovery, specifically designed for educational institutions, theatres, and large-scale commercial buildings. With a nominal airflow of 5500 m³/h and heat recovery exceeding 80%, this air handling unit is ideally suited for your next commercial project where continuous ventilation without energy loss is essential. The unit operates using an efficient counterflow heat exchanger, EC fans, an integrated control panel and remote controller with 10 m cable. The air handling unit is plug & play, designed for floor mounting, and features handles on the right side for easy access and maintenance.
Benefits and Features
- Durable casing: Constructed from aluminium profiles with polyamide thermal breaks (TB2 class) to prevent thermal bridges. According to EN 1886, the unit achieves class D1, L1, T2, and TB2. The double-skinned panels are insulated with 45 mm rock wool to minimise heat loss and reduce noise.
- Counterflow heat exchanger: The integrated, efficient, and Eurovent-certified counterflow heat exchanger recovers over 80% of the thermal energy from the exhaust air without mixing the air streams.
- EC fans: Direct-driven, electronically commutated (EC) plug fans with high-efficiency EC motors provide an environmentally friendly solution with low energy consumption and low noise levels.
- Maintenance-friendly: Easy access to the air handling unit via the right-side handles. Filters and optional accessories can be easily replaced or installed.
- The Regin E3-DSP: Remote control is supplied as standard and offers intuitive remote control via an LCD display. This allows ventilation and air conditioning modes, temperature settings, dirty filter information and many other parameters to be easily adjusted and monitored remotely, without the need for direct access to the air handling unit. As standard, the maximum distance is 10 meters but it is possible to extend it even more by adding some additional components.
- Control panel: The fully integrated Regin control panel supports constant pressure or constant airflow control. It can be equipped with a CO₂ or humidity sensor and enables display and operation of multiple functions, such as airflow regulation, temperature control, dirty filter alerts, frost protection, and more.
- Additional components: Thanks to its flexible design, the unit can be easily expanded with extra functionalities, such as hot and chilled water coils, electric preheaters, silencers, and protective devices, tailored to the user’s requirements.
