Maxivent Automatic Switching Water Coil 41.50 kW Heating, 14.03 kW Cooling - H CCW2

The Maxivent automatic switching water coil is an optional accessory designed to expand the M4027 air handling unit. Constructed from a galvanised steel frame, aluminium fins, copper tubes, and headers, the automatic switching water coil provides excellent thermal conductivity with a capacity of 41.50 kW for heating and 14.03 kW for cooling.

Water or a glycol mixture circulates through the copper tubes of the heat exchanger, absorbing or releasing heat to the airflow within the air handling unit. The heat exchanger is supplied by an external source, such as a boiler, chiller, or heat pump, which provides the coil with hot or cold water. The key difference and advantage compared to a standard hot or cold water coil is that the automatic switching water coil can both heat and cool. Switching between functions is easily achieved via a control valve.

The automatic switching water coil is mounted on the side of the M4027 air handling unit.
