Maxivent Automatic Switching Water Coil 12.70 kW Heating, 4.67 Cooling - H CCW2

The Maxivent automatic switching water coil is an optional accessory designed to extend the M4007 air handling unit. Constructed from a galvanised steel frame, aluminium fins, copper tubes, and headers, the automatic switching water coil, with a capacity of 12.70 kW for heating and 4.67 kW for cooling, guarantees excellent thermal conductivity.

Water or a glycol mixture circulates through the copper tubes of the heat exchanger, absorbing or releasing heat to the airflow within the air handling unit. The heat exchanger is supplied by an external source, such as a central heating boiler, chiller, or heat pump, which provides either hot or cold water to the coil. The key difference—and advantage—compared to a standard hot or cold water coil is that the automatic switching water coil can both cool and heat. Switching between functions is conveniently achieved via a control valve.

The automatic switching water coil is mounted on the side of the M4007 air handling unit.
