Maxivent Automatic Switching Water Coil 12.00 kW Heating, 4.24 kW Cooling CCW1

The Maxivent automatic switching water coil is an optional accessory designed to extend the horizontal M4512 air handling unit. Constructed from a galvanized steel frame, aluminium fins, copper tubes, and headers, the automatic switching water coil ensures excellent thermal conductivity with a capacity of 12.00 kW for heating and 4.24 kW for cooling.

Water or a glycol mixture circulates through the copper tubes of the heat exchanger, transferring heat to or from the airflow within the air handling unit. The heat exchanger is supplied by an external source, such as a central heating boiler, chiller, or heat pump, which provides the coil with hot or cold water. A key advantage of the automatic switching water coil, compared to a standard hot or cold water coil, is its ability to both heat and cool. Switching between these functions is easily managed via a control valve.

The automatic switching water coil is mounted on the side of the horizontal M4512 air handling unit.
