Maxivent Automatic Switching Water Coil 12.00 kW Heating, 4.04 kW Cooling - H CCW1

The Maxivent automatic switching water coil is an optional accessory designed to expand the M4012 air handling unit. Constructed from a galvanized steel frame, aluminium fins, copper tubes, and collectors, the automatic switching water coil delivers excellent thermal conductivity with a capacity of 12.00 kW for heating and 4.04 kW for cooling.

Water or a glycol mixture circulates within the copper tubes of the heat exchanger, absorbing or releasing heat to the airflow inside the air handling unit. The heat exchanger is supplied by an external source, such as a boiler, chiller, or heat pump, which provides the coil with hot or cold water. The key advantage compared to a standard hot or cold water coil is that the automatic switching water coil can both cool and heat. Switching between these functions is easily controlled via a control valve.

The automatic switching water coil is mounted on the side of the M4012 air handling unit.
