Galvanised coupler 300mm x 80mm

The galvanised coupler with dimensions 300mm x 80mm has an inlet end that falls directly over a duct, without the need for an additional fittings to connect the bend to a galvanised flat duct.

Flat channel ducts are galvanised flat ducts that are integrated into a floor or concrete to allow air distribution or extraction in buildings. These flexible products are designed to be invisible and are mostly used in new construction and renovation projects. Furthermore, a galvanised flat duct can be used in walls, floors and/or ceilings. Combined with a straight galvanised flat duct and various fittings, a ventilation duct can be constructed as required. There are both round and rectangular galvanised flat ducts. Product specifications

Our collapse air ducts are specially designed for application in residential construction and floors equivalent to residential construction. In addition, these durable products are manufactured from high-quality galvanised steel. This steel is provided with a corrosion-resistant zinc coating, applied according to the reliable Sendzimir process, in which a two-sided zinc layer is applied. This guarantees a robust and durable protection against corrosion, in accordance with the NEN-EN 10346 and NEN-EN 10143 standards.

Depending on the dimensions of the air duct, we choose the most suitable sheet thickness to ensure robustness and functionality. For galvanised flat ducts in the dimensions 170x80 mm, a 0.5 mm sheet thickness is used, while the larger dimensions such as 220x80 mm and 300x80 mm are executed in a 0.6 mm sheet. The cross connections in rectangular galvanised flat ducts are designed as sliding connections, using a coupling piece. These joints are securely fastened with self-drilling screws. To prevent water or cement from entering the air duct, the connections are finished with PVC tape. Longitudinal joints are executed in a flanged or spot-welded connection.
