The Belimo differential pressure sensor is a precise sensor specifically designed for monitoring air and other non-combustible gases in HVAC systems. This version is equipped with automatic zero point calibration (Auto-Zero), which continuously compensates for measurement deviations caused by temperature or environmental influences, minimising maintenance requirements. The sensor combines high measurement accuracy with a robust design. Thanks to the IP65 enclosure, the device is fully dust-tight and splash-proof, ensuring reliable operation even in demanding environments. This makes the differential pressure sensor highly suitable for monitoring air filters, supervising fans, and controlling pressure differentials in, for example, smoke-free escape routes. The sensor is versatile due to eight selectable measurement ranges and multiple output signals.

Installation, Maintenance and Applications

For accurate differential pressure measurement, the supplied tubing set and Pitot tubes are connected to the sensor’s pressure ports. Electrical connection is made via a plug-in terminal block and a cable gland with strain relief. Thanks to the Auto-Zero function, periodic recalibration is often unnecessary in many applications. The sensor is widely used in commercial buildings and industry for filter monitoring, fan control, and establishing pressure regimes in HVAC installations.
