Value ATEX Fan

The Value ATEX fan is an industrial explosion-proof fan designed as auxiliary airflow for the recovery of flammable refrigerants from HVAC/R systems. The fan is ATEX-certified (ETL21ATEX0100X) and suitable for use with A1, A2L, A2, and A3 refrigerants, including R290 and R600a. By effectively refreshing the air around the service area, the VA3-F-EX ensures refrigerant concentrations remain safely below explosive limits.

Effective ventilation, energy-efficient operation

With an airflow of 550 m³/h, the VA3-F-EX guarantees at least four air changes per hour at 0.5 m above floor level, meeting the minimum requirement when working with flammable refrigerants in confined spaces. The power consumption of just 32 W makes the fan suitable for prolonged use without significant energy costs. Its operating temperature range from -30 to +50°C makes it suitable for both indoor applications and outdoor installations under varying weather conditions.

Installation, maintenance and applications

The VA3-F-EX is installed at a minimum of 0.5 m above the floor to ensure the airflow effectively refreshes the work environment around the service area. The unit is intended exclusively for certified HVAC/R technicians and should only be used as auxiliary airflow during servicing of systems containing flammable refrigerants. Its compact dimensions of 320x420x190 mm and weight of 7.5 kg make the fan easy to carry in a service van.
