Ubbink Aerfoam Connector 160 mm

The Ubbink Aerfoam connector 160 mm is part of the Aerfoam insulated duct system and serves as a connecting piece between various Aerfoam components. Thanks to its lightweight, flexibility, and the ability to trim the connector without burrs, this connector is ideal for residential ventilation systems such as balanced ventilation (WTW).

Connection Options

With the Ubbink Aerfoam connector 160 mm, the following components can be connected:

• pipes with a diameter of 160 mm;
• T-pieces with a diameter of 160 mm;
• a bend and pipe with a diameter of 160 mm;
• a T-piece and pipe with a diameter of 160 mm;
• a T-piece and bend with a diameter of 160 mm.

The Ubbink Aerfoam connector 160 mm cannot be connected to a transition piece.

How to Attach the Connector?

The inner ring is attached in the bend, pipe, or T-piece with a corresponding diameter. This applies to both sides of the inner ring. The outer ring works in the same way as the Ubbink Aerfoam mounting brackets, which can be trimmed without burrs by pulling on them. Requirements for Connections

To connect components with the same diameter, a connector is required. Do you want to connect components with different diameters? Then you use a transition piece – no connector is needed for this. For a secure attachment to the wall or ceiling, use a bracket specifically designed for the Aerfoam system.
