This ventilation duct from Thermoduct features a galvanised metal tube with an outer layer of thermal insulation material with a 13 mm closed-cell structure.
The Thermoduct insulated ventilation duct is ideally suited for supply and exhaust air connections, such as those in HRV units and air handling systems. The Thermoduct insulated duct and fittings are designed and manufactured by Econox.
Prefab solution
Thermoduct is the prefab solution for installing insulated, low-noise, and energy-efficient ventilation. The ventilation duct comes prefabricated with insulation, which facilitates easier installation. This also results in reduced installation time, making it cost-effective.
Reduction of heat loss and prevention of condensation
Thermoduct is an air duct system with a high-quality thermally insulating casing. The casing reduces heat loss and, due to the 13 mm dense closed-cell structure, water vapour cannot be transmitted. Thermoduct balances temperature differences between indoor and outdoor air, effectively preventing condensation.
Ease of installation
Thermoduct stands for airtight assembly. Thermoduct products are standard equipped with sealing rubber and closure bands, ensuring that the Thermoduct fittings achieve airtightness class D or ATC 2. Thanks to the secure connection with rubber seal and practical vapour-proof closure bands, no additional taping is required. The inner tube is also galvanically treated, making it easy to clean.
Noise reduction
Thanks to the acoustic properties of the insulating jacket, noise within the ventilation ducts is reduced, resulting in a low-noise ventilation system. This makes it the ideal solution for installations that comply with the strict noise requirements of the 2012 Building Decree (max. 30dB(A)).
