This ventilation duct from Thermoduct features a galvanised metal tube with an outer layer of thermal insulation material with a 9 mm closed-cell structure.

The Thermoduct insulated ventilation duct is ideally suited for supply and exhaust air connections of, for example, HRV units and air handling systems. The Thermoduct insulated duct and accessories are developed and manufactured by Econox.

Prefab solution

Thermoduct is the prefab solution for installing insulated, low-noise and energy-efficient ventilation. The ventilation duct comes prefab insulated, which makes installation easier. This also leads to a shorter installation time, resulting in cost savings.

Reduction of heat loss and no condensation formation

Thermoduct is an air duct system with a high-quality thermal insulating outer layer. The outer layer reduces heat loss and, due to the 9 mm dense cell structure, water vapour cannot penetrate. Thermoduct balances temperature differences between indoor and outdoor air, thereby effectively preventing condensation formation.

Ease of installation

Thermoduct guarantees airtight assembly. Thermoduct products are standard supplied with sealing rubber and closure bands, ensuring that Thermoduct accessories achieve airtightness class D or ATC 2. Thanks to the safe connection with rubber sealing and practical vapour-tight closure bands, no additional taping is required. Additionally, the inner tube is galvanically treated, making it easy to clean.

Noise reduction

Thanks to the acoustic properties of the insulating outer layer, noise is reduced within the ventilation ducts, resulting in a quiet ventilation system. This makes it the perfect solution for installations complying with the strict noise requirements of the Dutch Building Decree 2012 (max. 30 dB(A)).
