This ventilation duct from Thermoduct features a galvanised metal tube with an outer jacket of thermal insulation material with a 9 mm closed-cell structure.
The Thermoduct insulated ventilation duct is ideally suited for supply and exhaust air connections, for example for HRV units and air handling systems. The Thermoduct insulated duct and accessories are designed and manufactured by Econox.
Prefab solution
Thermoduct is the prefab solution for installing insulated, acoustically quiet and energy-efficient ventilation. The ventilation duct comes prefab insulated, which facilitates easier installation. This also results in a shorter installation time, thus reducing costs.
Reduction of heat loss and prevention of condensation
Thermoduct is an air duct system with a high-quality thermally insulating jacket. The jacket reduces heat loss and, due to the 9 mm closed-cell structure, water vapour cannot be transmitted. Thermoduct balances temperature differences between indoor and outdoor air, thus almost completely eliminating condensation formation.
Ease of installation
Thermoduct guarantees airtight assembly. The Thermoduct products come standard with sealing rubber and closure bands, ensuring that the Thermoduct fittings achieve airtightness class D or ATC 2. Thanks to the secure connection with rubber seals and convenient vapour-tight closure bands, no taping is necessary. Additionally, the inner duct is galvanically treated and therefore easy to clean.
Noise reduction
Due to the acoustic properties of the insulating jacket, noise is reduced within the ventilation ducts, resulting in a low-noise ventilation system. This makes it the ideal solution for installations that comply with the stringent noise requirements of the 2012 Building Decree (max. 30 dB(A)).
