This ventilation duct from Thermoduct features a galvanised metal pipe with an outer shell made of thermal insulation material with a 13 mm closed-cell structure.
The Thermoduct insulated ventilation duct is ideally suited for supply and extract air connections of, for example, HRV units and air handling systems. The Thermoduct insulated duct and fittings are developed and manufactured by Econox.
Prefab solution
Thermoduct is the prefab solution for installing insulated, low-noise, and energy-efficient ventilation. The ventilation duct is prefabricated insulated, ensuring easier installation. This also results in a shorter installation time, making it cost-effective.
Reduction of heat loss and prevention of condensation
Thermoduct is an air duct system with a high-quality thermally insulating jacket. The jacket reduces heat loss and, due to the 13 mm closed-cell structure, prevents water vapour transmission. Thermoduct balances temperature differences between indoor and outdoor air, thereby virtually eliminating condensation.
Ease of installation
Thermoduct ensures airtight installation. Thermoduct products are standard equipped with sealing rubber and closure bands, achieving airtightness class D or ATC 2 for Thermoduct fittings. Thanks to the safe connection with rubber seals and convenient vapour-tight closure bands, taping is not necessary. The inner pipe is galvanically treated, making it easy to clean.
Sound reduction
Thanks to the acoustic properties of the insulating jacket, sound is reduced within the ventilation ducts, creating a low-noise ventilation system. This makes it the ideal solution for installations that comply with the strict noise requirements of the 2012 Building Decree (maximum 30dB(A)).
