This ventilation duct from Thermoduct features a galvanized metal tube with an outer layer of thermal insulation material with a 9 mm closed cell structure.

The Thermoduct insulated ventilation duct is ideally suited for supply and exhaust air connections for applications such as HRV units and air handling systems. The Thermoduct insulated duct and fittings are developed and manufactured by Econox.

Prefab solution

Thermoduct is the prefab solution for installing insulated, low-noise, and energy-efficient ventilation. The ventilation duct comes factory insulated, facilitating easier installation. This also results in a shorter installation time, thereby reducing costs.

Reduction of heat loss and prevention of condensation

Thermoduct is an air duct system with a high-quality thermally insulating casing. The casing reduces heat loss, and due to the 9 mm closed cell structure, water vapour transmission is prevented. Thermoduct balances temperature differences between indoor and outdoor air, making condensation virtually impossible.

Ease of installation

Thermoduct ensures airtight installation. Thermoduct products are standard equipped with sealing rubber and clamp bands, enabling the Thermoduct fittings to achieve airtightness class D or ATC 2. Thanks to the secure connection with rubber sealing and the convenient vapour-tight clamp bands, no additional sealing tape is required. The inner tube is also galvanically treated, making it easy to clean.

Noise reduction

Thanks to the acoustic properties of the insulating casing, noise is reduced within the ventilation ducts, resulting in a quiet ventilation system. This makes it the ideal solution for installations complying with the strict noise requirements of the Building Decree 2012 (max. 30dB(A)).
