This ventilation duct from Thermoduct features a galvanised metal tube with an outer shell of thermal insulation material with a 13 mm closed-cell structure.
The Thermoduct insulated ventilation duct is ideally suited for supply and exhaust air connections, such as those for HRV units and air handling systems. The Thermoduct insulated ductwork and accessories are developed and manufactured by Econox.
Prefab solution
Thermoduct is the prefab solution for installing insulated, low-noise, and energy-efficient ventilation. The ventilation duct is prefabricated with insulation, which facilitates easier installation. This also results in shorter installation times and therefore cost savings.
Reduction of heat loss and no condensation
Thermoduct is an air duct system with a high-quality thermal insulating outer layer. The casing reduces heat loss, and due to the 13 mm closed-cell structure, water vapour cannot be transmitted. Thermoduct balances temperature differences between indoor and outdoor air, which virtually eliminates the risk of condensation.
Ease of installation
Thermoduct ensures airtight assembly. Thermoduct products come standard with sealing rubber and closure bands, enabling the accessories to achieve airtightness class D or ATC 2. Thanks to the secure connection with rubber sealing and handy vapour-tight closure bands, no additional taping is required. Additionally, the inner tube is galvanically treated, making it easy to clean.
Noise reduction
Thanks to the acoustic properties of the insulating casing, noise is reduced within the ventilation ducts, resulting in a quiet ventilation system. This makes it the ideal solution for installations meeting the strict noise requirements of the Dutch Building Decree 2012 (max. 30 dB(A)).
