Thermoduct insulated spiral duct - diameter 160 mm - 1000 mm - 9 mm insulation layer
This ventilation duct from Thermoduct features a galvanised metal tube with an outer casing of thermal insulation material with a 9 mm closed-cell structure. The Thermoduct insulated ventilation duct is ideally suited for supply and exhaust air connections, such as those for HRV units and air handling systems. The Thermoduct insulated duct and accessories are designed and manufactured by Econox.
Prefab solution
Thermoduct is the prefab solution for installing insulated, low-noise, and energy-efficient ventilation. The ventilation duct comes pre-insulated, ensuring easier installation. This also results in shorter installation times, making it cost-effective.
Reduction of heat loss and no condensation
Thermoduct is an air duct system with a high-quality thermally insulating casing. The casing reduces heat loss, and thanks to the 9 mm dense cell structure, water vapour cannot be transmitted. Thermoduct compensates for temperature differences between indoor and outdoor air, virtually eliminating condensation formation.
Ease of installation
Thermoduct guarantees airtight installation. Thermoduct products come standard with sealing rubber and clamp bands, enabling the Thermoduct fittings to achieve airtightness class D or ATC 2. Thanks to the secure connection with rubber seals and practical vapour-tight clamp bands, no additional taping is required. Furthermore, the inner tube is galvanically treated, making it easy to clean.
Noise reduction
Due to the acoustic properties of the insulating casing, noise is reduced within the ventilation ducts, resulting in a low-noise ventilation system. This makes it the ideal solution for installations complying with the strict noise requirements of the 2012 Building Decree (max. 30dB(A)).
