Thermoduct Insulated Transition Piece with a Diameter of 315 mm to 160 mm

This insulated transition piece from Thermoduct features a galvanized metal pipe with an outer jacket made of thermal insulation material with a 13 mm closed cell structure.

The Thermoduct insulated transition piece is particularly suitable for supply and exhaust air connections for, for example, heat recovery units and air handling systems. The Thermoduct insulated ventilation pipe and fittings are developed and produced by Econox.

Prefab Solution

Thermoduct is the prefab solution for installing insulated, low-noise, and energy-efficient ventilation. The Thermoduct transition piece is prefab insulated, which facilitates easier installation. This also results in shorter installation times, making it cost-effective.

Reduction of Heat Loss and No Condensation Formation

Thermoduct is an air duct system with a high-quality thermal insulating jacket. The jacket ensures that heat loss is minimized, and due to the dense cell structure of 13 mm, moisture from the air cannot be transferred. Thermoduct regulates temperature differences between indoor and outdoor air, making condensation formation nearly impossible.

Ease of Installation

Thermoduct stands for airtight assembly. The Thermoduct products are standardly equipped with sealing rubber and clamping bands, achieving airtightness class D or ATC 2. Thanks to the safe connection with rubber sealing and the convenient vapor-tight clamping bands, no additional sealing is required. Additionally, the inner pipe is galvanized, making it easy to clean.

Noise Reduction

Thanks to the acoustic properties of the insulating jacket, sound is reduced in the ventilation pipes, resulting in a low-noise ventilation system. This makes it the ideal solution for installations that meet the strict noise requirements of the Building Decree 2012 (max. 30dB(A)).
