The Spiro-SAFE sound attenuator diameter 500 mm - length 600 mm (100 mm insulation) is a round ventilation sound attenuator made from galvanized steel, specifically designed for use in ventilation and air handling ducts. 2. Central core: From diameter 315 upwards, premium attenuators are equipped with a central core. The core directs airflow through a perforated inner tube, increasing the contact between sound waves and the absorption layer. This results in more effective attenuation of mid and high frequencies.
3. More uniform sound reduction: The combination of flexible insulation, tight connections, and thoughtful construction ensures the premium version offers more consistent sound reduction across a broad frequency range.
