The Spiro-SAFE sound attenuator diameter 400 mm - length 600 mm (100 mm insulation) is a round ventilation sound attenuator made of galvanised steel, specifically designed for use in ventilation and air handling ducts. 2. Centre core: From diameter 315 upwards, premium attenuators feature a central core. This core directs airflow through a perforated inner tube, increasing acoustic contact with the absorption layer. As a result, mid and high frequencies are attenuated more effectively.

More uniform noise reduction: The combination of flexible insulation, secure connections, and thoughtful construction ensures the premium variant delivers a more consistent noise reduction across a wide frequency range. The standard variant may exhibit slightly less uniform attenuation, particularly at lower frequencies.
