The Spiro-SAFE sound attenuator with a diameter of 355 mm and length of 900 mm (100 mm insulation) is a round ventilation sound attenuator made from galvanized steel, specifically developed for use in ventilation and air handling ducts. 2. Central Core: From diameter 315 onwards, the premium attenuators feature a central core. The core allows air to pass through a perforated inner pipe, increasing the contact between sound waves and the absorption layer. This enhances the attenuation of mid and high frequencies.
3. More Uniform Sound Reduction: The combination of flexible insulation, effective sealing, and thoughtful construction ensures that the premium variant provides more consistent noise reduction over a broad frequency range.
