The Spiro-SAFE premium silencer diameter 630 mm - length 600 mm with core (100 mm insulation) is a round ventilation silencer made of galvanized steel, specifically designed for use in ventilation and air handling ductwork. Sound absorption is achieved using glass wool, located between the inner and outer shell of the silencer. 2. Central core: From diameter 315 mm onwards, the premium silencers feature a central core. This core directs air through a perforated inner tube, increasing the contact of sound waves with the absorption layer. As a result, especially mid and high frequencies are more effectively attenuated.
3. More uniform sound reduction: The combination of flexible insulation, effective sealing, and thoughtful construction ensures that the premium variant delivers a more consistent sound attenuation across a broad frequency range. The standard variant may exhibit slightly less uniform sound reduction, particularly at lower frequencies.
