The Spiro-SAFE premium sound attenuator diameter 560 mm - length 1200 mm with core (100 mm insulation) is a round ventilation sound attenuator made from galvanized steel, specifically designed for use in ventilation and air handling ducts. 2. Central core: From diameter 315 mm onwards, premium attenuators are equipped with a core in the centre. The central core directs airflow through a perforated inner tube, which increases the contact of sound waves with the absorption layer. This results in more effective attenuation, particularly of mid and high frequencies.
3. More uniform sound reduction: The combination of flexible insulation, tight connections, and thoughtful construction ensures that the premium variant delivers more consistent sound reduction across a broad frequency range.
