The Spiro-SAFE premium silencer diameter 450 mm - length 900 mm with core (100 mm insulation) is a round ventilation silencer made from galvanised steel, specifically designed for use in ventilation and air handling ducts. This silencer is engineered to effectively reduce noise generated by airflow and mechanical fans, ensuring that sound levels in occupied and technical spaces remain within acceptable limits.

Practical information

Sound absorption is achieved using glass wool located between the inner and outer shells of the silencer. Depending on the model, the wool thickness is 50 mm, or 100 mm for the PREMIUM-100. 2. Central core: From diameter 315 onwards, the premium silencers feature a central core. This core directs the airflow through a perforated inner tube, increasing the contact of sound waves with the absorption layer. As a result, mid and high frequencies are damped more effectively.
3. More uniform noise reduction: The combination of flexible insulation, a good seal, and thoughtful construction ensures the premium variant delivers more consistent noise reduction across a wide frequency range. The standard version may show slightly less uniform attenuation, especially at lower frequencies.
