The Spiro-SAFE premium silencer diameter 450 mm - length 1200 mm with core (100 mm insulation) is a round ventilation silencer made from galvanized steel, specifically developed for use in ventilation and air handling ducts. This silencer is designed to effectively reduce noise generated by airflow and mechanical fans, ensuring that sound levels in occupied spaces and technical rooms remain within acceptable limits.

Practical information

The sound absorption is achieved through glass wool, which is located between the inner and outer casing of the silencer. Depending on the version, the wool thickness is 50 mm for the standard and 100 mm for the PREMIUM-100. 2. Central core: From diameter 315 onwards, premium silencers are fitted with a core in the centre. The central core directs the air through a perforated inner tube, increasing contact between sound waves and the absorption layer. This enhances attenuation particularly of mid and high frequencies.

More consistent sound reduction: The combination of flexible insulation, secure connections, and well-thought-out construction ensures that the premium variant offers a more consistent sound reduction across a broad frequency range.
