The Spiro-SAFE premium sound attenuator diameter 315 mm - length 900 mm with core (100 mm insulation) is a round ventilation sound attenuator made of galvanized steel, specifically designed for use in ventilation and air handling ducts. This attenuator is engineered to effectively reduce noise generated by air flow and mechanical fans, ensuring that noise levels in occupied spaces and technical rooms remain within acceptable limits.
The connection of the sound attenuator is equipped on both ends with a male spigot connection featuring an integrated double EPDM lip seal, providing an airtight and reliable connection to round ventilation ducts.

Practical Information

2. Central core: From diameter 315 onwards, premium attenuators are equipped with a core in the centre. The central core forces air through a perforated inner tube, increasing the interaction of sound waves with the absorption layer. This especially enhances attenuation of mid and high frequencies.
3. More uniform sound reduction: The combination of flexible insulation, good connection, and thoughtful construction ensures that the premium variant delivers more consistent sound reduction across a broad frequency range.
